DENOTATION & CONNOTATION

Standard
Denotative is true literal meaning of a word. For example, the word 'HOME' has denotative 'Place where we live in'. Meanwhile, referring to the association Connotation meaning, emotions and feelings that are bound in a word. Contonya, connotative meanings of the word 'HOME' is 'Family', 'Love', 'Comfort' or 'Security'.

Broadly speaking, the connotative meaning is divided into three:
1.    Positive (Favorable) Connotation - is a positive association of a word.
2.    Negative (Unfavorable) Connotation - is the word associations that cause a negative
       response to the word in question.
3.    Neutral Connotation - It is said that did not bring any emotional reaction.
