Morpheme - Allomorphs and Zero Allomorphs

Allomorphs
Allomorphs is the any of the different forms a morpheme or different pronunciations of a morpheme without changing meaning.


Example :
Morpheme      :       [-d]
Allomorphs     :       Called [-d], Talked [-t], Glided [-ed]
Morpheme            [-s]
Allomorphs     :       Desks [-s], Cars [-z], Buses [-ez]
Morpheme            [in-]
Allomorphs     :       Insane [in-], Incomplete [iÅ‹-], Impossible [im-], Irrevocable [-ir]


Zero Allomorphs
The past tense from of "hurt" is formed by adding the zero allomorph of [-D1] to this word.

Example :
                         Hurt - Hurt
                         Built - Built

AMBIGUITY

Standard

Ambiguous / ambiguity is a word or phrase that has more meaning darh one or ambiguous. Structurally ambiguous sentences or grammatical own right, but the meaning of the sentence raises a double meaning or more than one meaning. In spoken language, the interpretation of this ambiguous sentence probably will not happen because of the lack of distinction in pronunciation. However, the written language (written) This dual interpretation can only occur if the markers spelling incomplete.

Example:

1. He spend twenty thousand.
Sentence / phrase above can be ambiguous. Meaning can be:

1. Twenty / thousands = twenty bills in the thousands.
2. Twenty thousand = sata twenty-thousand-dollar bills.
To avoid any confusion or misinterpretation, the sentence should be equipped with a hyphen (-).
Example with the addition of a hyphen then becomes:
He issued a twenty-thousand or she spend twenty thousand.
In order to more clearly examine the following ambiguous sentence below!

Sentence : red car is new neighbor.
In the above sentence pose a double meaning to the phrase "car new neighbor", is as follows.
1. Car / new = new neighbor is a neighbor.
2. Car neighbor / new = new is the car.
To avoid double meaning, the sentence above could be changed to: Cars - new neighbors are red or Car neighbors - the new red.

Ambiguity in addition occurs in the sentence may also occur between sentences.
